The Spa Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to create a customer service-oriented environment. Duties include membership sales, retail sales and inventory control, service scheduling and support, cash drawer maintenance, administrative tasks and light housekeeping. Coordinators may participate in promotional programs and marketing initiatives. Scheduled shifts include evenings and weekends.

Essential duties include performing professional quality massage within scope of practice and licensing and designing specific sessions based on member’s/guest’s individual needs in alignment with policies and protocols, utilizing approved modalities.

â— Perform professional quality facials, microdermabrasion, resurfacing micro-peels and body waxing within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable)
â— Analyze skin type and select the appropriate procedure that best suits the member/guest.
â— Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by state law and Sirius Day Spa policies and procedures.
â— Educate members/guests on products used during procedures
â— Suggest treatment based on observations.
â— Recommend aftercare plan using retail products.
â— Ensure all equipment used during services are cleaned before and after and are maintained.
â— Support Overall Team Goals.
â— Stay updated on retail products and all promotions within Sirius Day Spa.
â— Must follow all Sirius Day Spa policies, procedures and protocols.
â— Maintain client confidentiality.
â— Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
â— Create and maintain positive relationships other team members.
â— Maintain professional appearance at all times.
â— Reliable and prompt to work and works entire scheduled shift.
â— Completes Intake Form documentation accurately and completely.

Education, Skills and Training:
â— Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position.
â— Minimum of 500 hours of skincare education as well as required classroom work.
â— Hold current state license to practice esthetics.
â— Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the esthetic services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Esthetician/Cosmetology License.
â— Participates in continuing education to improve effectiveness (preferred).
â— Knowledge and understanding of spa services and product lines is a plus.
Communications and Personal Interactions
â— Have a strong customer service orientation and can communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, franchise owners, and regional developers.
